A Pacific Northwest naturally-inspired garden-style community

Modera Lacey, a new garden-style community from our long-time partner, Mill Creek Residential Trust, came to market in 2023 in the quickly growing suburb of Lacey, a town situated between Tacoma and Olympia, Washington. With 362-units spread across 14 buildings and 8 carraige buildings on 26-acres, Modera Lacey makes a strong impression. Signage speaks to the lush PNW natural environment that surrounds the development, while introducing a hint of whimsy within the amenity signage. The resident clubhouse is spacious with a myriad of amenities for residents to choose from – with everything from an indoor basketball court to a theater room to a pool and hot tub. Additional amenities such as a dog park and two playgrounds are spread throughout the site. Waypoint was delighted to partner with Mill Creek on their first Thurston County project, providing design, fabrication and installation for monument, wayfinding, code and ADA signage, inclusive of unit IDs, amenity signage and exterior building signage for the residential, garage and amenity buildings.
