The wayfinding suite!

White on white is a classic look. The raised graphics and letters add interest while retaining elegance.

Unit IDs brought the architect's original sketch of the tower to life for its new homeowners.

Interiors at First Light follow a theme of "sophisticated minimalism," yet offer the warmth of the Pacific Northwest.

The rooftop at First Light is an artful statement while providing residents with a connection to nature.

An elegant condominium tower in Downtown Seattle centered on art and nature

Residents at First Light will see the first, and the last light of the day in Downtown Seattle, with exceptional western views of the Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains as well as the eastern vista of the snow-capped peaks of the Cascade range. This condominium development from Westbank opened to its new homeowners in late 2024. A high-rise that is focused on celebrating nature through art and architecture, this 48-story building includes 459 units and 115,000 square feet of retail and office space. Waypoint provided design, fabrication and installation services for the wayfinding, code, ADA and interior signage. Signage design took its cues from the interior design and architecture of the modern tower, leveraging a simple black and white palette that allows raised graphics, numbers and letters to provide subtle yet artistic contrast, adding to the elegance of the tower.  Sophistictated minimalism is a theme throughout First Light, and the signage is no exception. James KM Cheng was the architect for the building, and Graham Construction was the general contractor.
