Delivering streamlined signage for an architecturally significant skyscraper

Designed by renowned modernist architecture firm, Olson Kundig, West Edge Tower is a 39-story mixed-use development in the heart of downtown Seattle. Seattle-based developer Urban Visions brought this 340-unit community to market in 2018, adding a stylish, slender tower to the Pike Place Market neighborhood. As the architect notes, the building speaks to the urbanity that surrounds it, while honoring the sky above. The building exterior transitions from gray to white, moving from the sidewalk to the top of the tower with a “silvery color palette offering a nod to the character of our Pacific Northwest skies.” Waypoint was delighted to be engaged in this important project. Our team delivered sophisticated, streamlined signage that does not take away from the modern, crisp building design, and instead adds to the experience. Sellen Construction was the GC for the development.
