Waypoint was extremely pleased to work with Holland Partner Group on yet another of their South Lake Union/Dexter Corridor developments. Holland chose to clearly differentiate their Dexter developments in order to attract varied mindsets to the multi-family communities. The story of True North is described as “if REI were an apartment building.”  Appealing to renters seeking an outdoor, Pacific Northwest lifestyle, True North offers everything from tent drying stations to trail mix in the lobby, to a climbing wall in the fitness center. Signage design and fabrication offers a custom-crafted look and feel, and supports the outdoorsy ethos of the community, adding yet one more layer to this unique and compelling project story. True North offers 286 units of high-end, experiential housing.  Waypoint was pleased to provide exterior signage, wayfinding (including code and ADA) signage and marketing signage for this mid-rise development in the burgeoning SLU market.  Weber Thompson was the architect and Holland was the contractor and developer. Waypoint partnered with League of Excellence on this project.

If REI were an apartment building it wouldn't have a typical fitness center - rather it would have a climbing wall (and more)!

True North includes units with sidewalk entries. Unit IDs took on another look and feel for this purpose.
