This Holland Partner Group high-rise development in Seattle’s First Hill neighborhood needed signage that matched its high-end, stylish presentation. The Perry’s interior design style is intended to evoke a curated, boutique hotel sensibility. At the same time, the design is “meant to take reference from the past and turn it on its side. It’s a twist on history.” Our team crafted a custom wayfinding package to speak specifically to these key interior inspirations. Holland Construction was the general contractor for the development and Ankrom Moisan was the architect.
The Perry – A Holland Partner Group Development
Mixed Use, Multi Family
Wayfinding / Architectural Signage, Property ID / Exterior Signage
First Hill, Seattle, Washington
The signage design draws from the surrounding historic neighborhood with features that provide a nod to elements such as wrought iron, yet with a budget friendly execution. In October, our team was notified that the project, originally scheduled to deliver in February, would be complete in December. Signage was of course needed to meet TCO requirements. Waypoint accelerated the project and delivered 8 weeks early, to the delight of the project team. The Perry includes 209 units.
“Waypoint Sign came prepared to design meetings with good options and associated pricing, allowing the team to make informed decisions. Working with the team during the construction phase was easy. The signs were all delivered and installed within the schedule.” – Hayden Taie, Holland Partner Group
