Natural signage highlights a luxury lodge

Waypoint was delighted to partner with Seattle development company, Touchstone, LLC on their Yellowstone National Park area luxury resort, Sage Lodge. The lodge, with a total of 50 guest rooms comprised of individual hotel rooms and cabins, is a destination for fly-fishing aficionados. Waypoint developed both wayfinding signage and exterior monument signage for the new resort, which offers a stylish, natural retreat. The signage design leveraged natural materials with a simple design, allowing the sunny lodge to capture a guest’s attention. The stunning monument sign creates a beautiful first impression, leveraging natural stone (also found in the lodge) and corten steel. North Fork Builders was the contractor, and Jensen Fey Architecture was the architect for the project, which completed in late 2018.

Code signage can be playful. Why not?

Simple signage accents a clean, natural look.

Meeting room boards keep with the crisp look of the lodge, yet offer simple functionality.

Interior code and wayfinding signage leverages a corten steel look, without the expense.

Room IDs use natural wood and add to the simple, clean lodge look.

The corten steel "look" from the monument sign enters into the lodge code signage.
