Leveraging materials in a high-tech environment

In an effort to further support their existing staff and to continue to attract talent, Microsoft is engaged in the renovation of their expansive 500 acre Redmond, Washington campus. Building 42 hosts the Azure (cloud computing) team. Microsoft leadership wanted to ensure that employees felt engaged in their building, and that the structure would not simply be office space for employees, but rather that the renovation of the building would create a place that reflected the important work of its team. Waypoint developed a signage program that spoke to this goal while ensuring simplicity of wayfinding throughout the building.
