Eco-friendly and responsive to the Columbia City vibe, Alta Arlo offers a new lifestyle in this diverse and organic Seattle neighborhood

Columbia City is a down-to-earth, diverse, intellectually interesting and vibrant Seattle neighborhood. In March, 2022, Alta Arlo adds to the vibe of this very authentic Seattle community with a sustainably-minded 240-unit midrise building inclusive of ground floor live/work units and retail space. In addition to solar panels, bioretention planters, sustainable building materials, loaner bikes and e-charging stations, the green building is also verdant with extensive plantings inside and out. Waypoint was delighted to partner with Wood Partners on the wayfinding (inclusive of code and ADA signage) and exterior signage for their newest Seattle development. Unit IDs incorporate both the building’s green ethos and the target audience’s creative nature with a formed metal laminate element adhered to appleply with reverse routered numbers and a direct-to-surface printed logo icon. Simply put, they are pretty cool!  Johnston Architects was the architect for the development and Exxel Pacific was the General Contractor.
