A nod, but not an overly obvious one, to milk!
Waypoint was absolutely delighted to continue our design/build signage partnership with Wood Partners on their personality-filled, 312 unit multi-family development, Alta Dairies. Located in the Atlanta Dairies redevelopment, Alta Dairies plays off of the history of the area as a dairy cooperative, founded in 1956. The Dairies is a master plan redevelopment by Paces Properties, and Wood Partners was selected to develop the residential component. Waypoint found inspiration for the amenity, unit ID and wayfinding signage from a classic red and white milk carton. The character exterior sign drew inspiration from an area vintage sign. As Wood Partners would one day sell this asset, the exterior sign was developed to allow for an easy removal of the Alta name. The asset has sold and is now called RT Dairies. Brock Hudgins Architects was the project architect and Wood Partners was the general contractor.
