Waypoint was pleased to provide full design/build signage services to the Wood Partners team for Alta Peak, a 138-unit multi-family project in the Burnside neighborhood of Portland, Oregon. Our team entered the development in pre-construction which added to the success of the project as we were fully integrated from inspiration to installation. Wood Partners challenged our designers to create concepts that would provide a nod to the history of the Burnside neighborhood, yet offer a modern and natural twist while staying within a defined budget. The resulting signage leverages a matte black acrylic with a surface screen to mimic the mottling of blackened steel, mixed with a complementary wood laminate veneer. Delivered during the COVID pandemic, Waypoint brought this wayfinding, code, ADA and exterior signage project to completion on-time and on-budget. Ankrom Moisan was the architect for the project.
